I Am Extraordinary!

Such a trip to eat at the newly opened Gratitude Café.
I Am Extraordinary is a delicious vegan BLT.
Jake got I am Transformed. Jen was Thankful and we were all Honoring.
Quite a laugh to have the server deliver the food asking “Who is Extraordinary?”
Oooh, Me!

We also thought it’d be funny to have a dark side menu with sinful dishes such as “I am cynical,” “I am devastated” and for dessert, a triple sundae with extra chocolate syrup called “I Am Utterly and Completely Alone.”

Bunnies

Went to a new bar last night to meet a friend visiting from Portland. She ended up not showing. But, we did get to glimpse these lovelies. So, it was a good Easter afternoon.

Neighborhood Hipster

This’ll be Jake’s second acting gig (he auditioned for neither). Instead of playing the flamboyant son of a 13th century British tyrant, he’s playing an Echo Park hipster that gets beat up by a 70s TV star back from the dead.

Thank you, L.A., for these precious moments!

Ripped Off

Not the best quality shot, but you get the picture. Notice the bed in the background.
Queen Bee Waxing. Best décor ever. Also, Voted best of its kind in L.A. And it’s true. If you’re into that sort of thing.

Bridezilla Line

Actually, after three and a half hours in line together – in 80 degrees in December – we weren’t so much bridezillas as Body-Odor-Brides. But, it was all good fun. Lots of eventual oohing and ahhing. And, by the end of it, I was shopping around the dressing room in my undies, throwing tulle and lace gowns around with everyone else.

I have now have at least three new Facebook friends.
