You growl, you howl, you show your teeth
I received the link to this video at the end of a long and loving and vulnerable and lovely email today. Between that and the OPEN talks I’ve been having with colleagues and the nap I took after class today, I’m feeling pretty good.
Good in a calm sort of way.
Good in the way that allowed me to lie quiet and notice the sound of the city rain in the moment just before dark when I woke up from the nap. Good in the way that allowed me to dance in the kitchen tonight. Good in the way that allowed me to spend real time reading the honest words of a friend faraway. And feel truly connected.
Looks like I’ll have to go to Berkeley in April to hear Jónsi live. And, from this song (and from listening to his songs with Sigur Rós), I know it’ll be magical and weird and wonderful.
